This sweet baby girl was born a little over 3 weeks ago, and I finally got to get my hands on her today! She’s the baby girl of a dear friend of mine from back home, and I couldn’t be more thrilled or honored to have captured her newborn images. She is still itty bitty and we were able to get her to sleep a few times, amidst all the things that babies do when they are naked for an extended period (use your imagination here, people). =)

Here are just a couple of quick favorites from our session:

Izzy struck her “Walk Like An Eqyptian” pose. I tried to fiddle with her left hand to get it on her tummy… and she immediately drew it back into this position. Too cute… I just went with it. She’s the boss, afterall!

Can you believe all these beautiful bebes I get to capture? I even get to hold some of them, too! =) Not only that, their families are a joy to meet and work with. I think I’m officially the luckiest photographer on the planet. =)

This is little Miss Taylor at 3 weeks+1day. Once this sweet one got into sleep mode, she was OUT to the world. Here are just a couple to share:

Simply Sophie | Hermitage, TN Baby Session

This little one recently celebrated her first birthday, and mom & dad thought it would be a good time to capture who she is right now. Sophie (or ‘Sophie Moon’ as her daddy called her - so cute) has the most infectious little grin and makes some of the sweetest conversational ‘noises’ that I’ve ever heard. I just loved my time with this precious family - I knew after talking and emailing with mom that they were going to be very special. THANK YOU so much for your confidence in my abilities and vision… I cannot wait for you to see all of your images. In the meantime, here is a tiny sneak peek… one from the very beginning of our play date, and one from the very end.
