Baby Brett ♥ Murfreesboro, TN Newborn Baby Photography

Baby Brett is the son of sweet friends of mine, and also the newest member at my church. It is always an honor for me to capture any family’s newest member, but especially this little one… because I’ve been praying for him since I heard he was on his way.
I’m so glad he is finally here and that I get to watch him grow.
I am so excited that we actually got this shot! I had my doubts, but he kept right on snoozing while we moved him from place to place.
I caught a sweet little grin…
This one is for daddy, who had no shortage of sports-related props to try out.
I loved the way he looked in his blue sweater jumper ~ such beautiful skin.
Darling Declan ♥ Murfreesboro, TN Newborn Baby Session
September 25, 2009 | Filed Under Newborn | 3 Comments
First off, I want to let everyone know that I am accepting sessions now. I had intended to take a break for a bit, but circumstances have changed and I am going to work in as many sessions as I am able without compromising my responsibilities at home. I am blessed to be able to do both!
Now on to the exciting content! Here’s a sneak peek of a sweet baby boy that I photographed today. Declan is 16 days new and belongs to a very sweet family. Big brother had the sweetest curls, dimples and eyelashes! and Grandma helped hold the reflector for me.
Thanks to you all for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to capture this little slice of time for you.

Little Mr. Miles ♥ Murfreesboro, TN Newborn Photography Session

I was so excited when Miles’s mom contacted me a few months ago to schedule a newborn session for their upcoming addition. I’ve been looking forward to it because she was referred to me by her best friend, who just happens to be a super sweet client/mom who gave me free reign with her newborn baby boy a few months ago. Cool people tend to stick together, so I knew I would love this family too.
…and I was right. =)

Sweet Baby BASH ♥ Murfreesboro, TN Newborn Photographer

Meet sweet little Benjamin Alexander… or BASH, as he is affectionately called by his mama.
I have been looking forward to photographing him since our maternity session in February. This little fella didn’t care how anxious anyone was to meet him… he hung in there a week past his due date.
During one of his feeding breaks, his dad and I talked about the instantaneous head-over-heels love that you feel when you first meet your baby. If you have children, you know exactly what that’s about. Those first days at home with a new baby are such a precious time… and I am blessed to be invited in to witness it. Matt & Christina - I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Meet precious little Layne… born 12 days ago on April 1st. Can you believe that 8lbs 8oz of baby came from this belly?? No April Fools joke here.
Here are just a few peeks from my session with her this morning:

Aren’t these little lips pure perfection? Actually, everything about baby Trace is marvelous. He is the newest blessing to a very special family. I had the honor of capturing him while he’s so new & tiny… 10 days new. Trace ~ I look forward to watching you grow… in stature and in spirit. Love, Miss Courtney

Angelic | Murfreesboro, TN Newborn Session

This precious baby boy is Gabriel… and I think the name is very fitting, for he certainly looks like an angel to me. His lovely mommy was featured in my last maternity session. Even though Gabriel was close to a month old on the day of our session, we were still able to get him to sleep fairly easily and capture some beautiful images. To his mom and grandmother, I hope you enjoy your little sneak peek. It was a joy to capture your little angel.

Beautiful Baby Boy | Murfreesboro, TN Newborn Session

This is sweet little Jonah at the ripe age of 14 days old. He is one of the newest (and cutest!) additions to our church family and I was tickled pink (or should I say blue??) when mom called and asked me capture his newborn portraits.
Jonah did a great job putting up with all the fuss, and I was able to capture some beautiful images. Here are just a couple of my favorites:

I thoroughly enjoyed my day with this sweet little babe… just 10 days old. His mommy has excellent taste in baby clothing - I LOVED this simple little sweater set that he wore at the beginning of the session… and I knew as soon as I clicked the shutter that this image would be my favorite:

Of course it wouldn’t be a newborn session without some bare baby photos, would it?
This is little Brett, surrounded by special family heirlooms; the blanket belonged to his Mommy when she was little, and the table was made by his grandfather who had passed away. I love to include sentimental items when I can… makes the image highly personal.
